Frasers Property, the sponsor of Frasers Hospitality Trust, is seeking to take over the trust with a S$0.70 per share offer.

Company executives expect the deal to be completed by the fourth quarter, subject to shareholders' approval.

The trust is one of the smaller hospitality REIT in Singapore and has struggled with the COVID situation and its impact on tourism.
