ARA Hospitality Trust is deleveraging with the announcement of the sale of Hyatt Place Chicago Itasca for US$7.75 million. The 126 rooms property is one of the smallest and oldest owned by the trust and represents about 1.1% of the total portfolio value.

Pro forma impact is a negligible decrease in NAV and slight increase in distribution per unit, based on January 1st comparison.
